Ingredients
175 g Caster sugar
30 ml Vegetable oil
175 ml Milk (cow’s or plant-based)
2 Eggs
25 g Cocoa powder
200 g Self raising flour
Butter or baking spread for greasing
250 g Dark chocolate
50 g White chocolate
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 160C Fan/350F/Gas Mark 4 and grease two 6-hole donut tins.
2. Whisk sugar, oil, milk, and eggs in a bowl until smooth.
3. Add cocoa powder and flour, whisk until combined.
4. Pour batter into tins (use a jug or piping bag for neatness).
5. Bake for 12 minutes, remove, and cool on a rack.
6. Melt dark and white chocolate separately.
7. Dip donuts into dark chocolate, let excess drip off.
8. Pipe white chocolate circles on top, drag a cocktail stick to form a web.
9. Allow to set or refrigerate briefly.
10. Store in an airtight container and eat within 3 days.
Notes
You can substitute cow’s milk with plant milk. Add edible candy spiders for extra decoration.
