Ingredients

  • 2 pounds skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon chicken bouillon granules
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients.
  2. Mix oregano, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. Rub mixture all over chicken breasts.
  3. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken until lightly browned, 3 to 5 minutes per side.
  4. Place chicken in a slow cooker.
  5. Mix water, lemon juice, garlic, and bouillon in the skillet; bring to boil.
  6. Pour mixture over chicken in the slow cooker.
  7. Cover and cook on Low for 6 hours or High for 3 hours.
  8. Add parsley 15 to 30 minutes before the end of cook time.
  9. Serve hot and enjoy.
