  • 2 packets chicken gravy mix
  • 1 1/4 cup Condensed Cream of Chicken Soup (undiluted)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper
  • 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 pound)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with garlic powder, paprika, black pepper, and salt.
  2. In slow cooker, whisk together water, gravy packets, and condensed chicken soup until smooth.
  3. Add chicken breasts to slow cooker and flip to coat well.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours.
  5. Carefully remove chicken and shred or cut as desired.
  6. Whisk sour cream into slow cooker until smooth and serve over chicken.

Notes

  • For lower sodium, use low-sodium gravy mix and soup.
  • Add vegetables like carrots or potatoes for extra flavor.
  • Frozen chicken works but increase cooking time by 1 hour.
