- For the chicken layer:
- Mrs. Dash onion and herb seasoning (to taste)
- 2 cups shredded chicken (from a rotisserie chicken)
- Nonstick cooking spray
- Pepper (to taste)
- Salt (to taste)
- For the soup mixture:
- 2 cans cream of chicken soup
- 1/4 cup milk
- For the stuffing:
- 1 package stovetop stuffing mix
- Aluminum foil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Coat a 13×9 glass baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- Place 2 cups of shredded chicken evenly in the baking dish. Season with pepper, salt, and Mrs. Dash onion and herb seasoning.
- Prepare the stovetop stuffing mix according to package instructions. Microwave for 5-6 minutes and let it steam.
- Mix 2 cans of cream of chicken soup with 1/4 cup milk. Pour over the chicken layer and spread evenly.
- Top with the prepared stuffing mix. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 10 minutes.
- Let the casserole cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Serve with steamed vegetables or a fresh salad.
- Freeze leftovers for up to 1 month.
- Reheat in the oven or microwave before serving.
