Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups creamy almond butter
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup or honey
  • 1/4 cup coconut flour
  • 1/3 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt (skip if almond butter is salted)
  • 4 oz dark chocolate, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp creamy almond butter

Instructions

  1. Line an 8×8” pan with parchment paper and lightly grease with coconut oil.
  2. Mix almond butter, maple syrup, coconut flour, coconut oil, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Press mixture evenly into the pan and refrigerate.
  4. Melt dark chocolate and almond butter in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
  5. Pour melted chocolate over the almond butter base and spread evenly.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before cutting into 16 bars.
  7. Store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks or freeze for 3 months.
