- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 5 large burrito size tortillas
- 1 can refried beans
- 1 cup Tostitos nacho cheese sauce
- 5 crunchy tostada tortillas
- ¾ cup sour cream
- 2–3 tomatoes seeded and diced
- 1 cup shredded iceberg lettuce
- ¾ cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 5 street taco size tortillas
Instructions
- Brown ground beef in a skillet and season with taco seasoning as per package instructions.
- Warm refried beans and nacho cheese sauce in the microwave.
- Heat a large skillet or griddle to medium heat.
- Spread ¼ cup beans in the center of each large tortilla.
- Add ½ cup taco meat and drizzle with 1.5-2 tablespoons nacho cheese.
- Place a crunchy tostada on top of the meat.
- Spread sour cream, diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, and cheese on the tostada.
- Top with a small street taco tortilla.
- Fold the bottom tortilla over the toppings, overlapping edges tightly.
- Cook seam-side-down on a greased griddle until browned, then flip to brown the other side.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra crunch, use two tostada shells.
- Spraying the small tortilla with nonstick spray helps keep the wrap sealed.
- Cook immediately after assembling to maintain crispness.
