  • 1 cup (225g) sour cream or heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch diluted in 2 tbsp cold water (optional)
  • 23 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp flat leaf parsley or fresh basil, chopped

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian herbs.
  2. Heat butter and oil in a pan or slow cooker with a browning function. Sear chicken skin-side down until golden.
  3. Turn chicken over and add wine or chicken broth. Season with paprika, garlic granules, and sun-dried tomatoes.
  4. Cover and cook on LOW for 90 mins – 2 hours or until chicken reaches 165°F (75°C).
  5. Optional: Stir in cornstarch slurry 10 minutes before cooking ends to thicken sauce.
  6. Move chicken aside, stir in sour cream or heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and fresh parsley.
