Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef
- 3 tbsp butter
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan
- 8 oz dry pasta (penne or rotini)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
Instructions
- Melt butter in a large pot and sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned.
- Stir in pasta, beef broth, and cream.
- Bring to a boil, reduce to low, and cover.
- Simmer for 12–15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Once pasta is cooked, stir in Parmesan.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Let rest 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with parsley.
Notes
- Prevent garlic from burning by sautéing it quickly over medium heat.
- Penne or rotini work best, but any short pasta will do.
- Ground turkey can substitute beef for a lighter version.
- For a thicker sauce, let it simmer uncovered for a few extra minutes.
