Beef lasagna roll-ups are a fun twist on traditional lasagna, featuring rolled noodles stuffed with a flavorful beef and cheese mixture.

Ingredients

  • 6 lasagna noodles
  • 1 pound extra-lean ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 1 (28 ounce) jar pasta sauce
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried basil
  • ½ teaspoon dried parsley
  • ½ teaspoon dried chives
  • ⅛ teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 pinch ground nutmeg
  • 2 cups shredded yellow and white marbled Cheddar cheese, divided
  • 1 (8 ounce) package light cream cheese, softened

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Cook lasagna noodles in boiling water for about 8 minutes, then drain and pat dry.
  3. Brown ground beef and onion in a skillet over medium heat for 10 minutes.
  4. Stir in pasta sauce, garlic powder, basil, parsley, chives, oregano, and nutmeg.
  5. Transfer half the beef mixture to a casserole dish and sprinkle with 1 cup Cheddar cheese.
  6. Spread cream cheese and beef mixture on each noodle, roll up, and place seam-side down in the dish.
  7. Top with remaining beef mixture and cheese.
  8. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes until bubbly.

Notes

  • Serve with garlic bread or a fresh salad.
