  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cups Panko bread crumbs
  • Vegetable or canola oil for frying
  • 12 slices mozzarella cheese
  • 12 slider rolls
  • Bang Bang Sauce

Instructions

  1. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. Set up a breading station with flour and cornstarch in one bowl, buttermilk, hot sauce, and egg in another, and bread crumbs in a third.
  3. Dredge chicken in flour, then buttermilk mixture, then bread crumbs.
  4. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  5. Fry chicken for 2-3 minutes per side until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  6. Drain on paper towels.
  7. Whisk together bang bang sauce.
  8. Assemble sliders by placing chicken on buns, topping with cheese, and drizzling with sauce.
